Yes, the ads ARE running (and in good time slots, too)

My sightings so far:

1. right before Oprah yesterday
2. during the CTV National News last night
3. during American Idol just now

Feel free to post your own sightings in the comments section.

Yes, commercial schedules are less crowded in January, but these slots cannot be cheap, and it puts the lie to the conspiracy theory that the ads were only going to be released on the web.

I hope the next time CTV supremo Ivan Fecan is invited to chair a Liberal fundraising dinner, he remembers the generosity of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Ah yes - and just to make sure to counteract the bad press poor Stephane is getting, Global National's Hannah (leftie) Boudreau took us on a tour of Stephane's "Green" home.

Poor, Poor Stephane - It's just not fair, I say!!!

Kind of show Harper's target audience.... you must be so proud...

Cherniak is as astute as ever. Hence, our target audience would be:

1. women -- especially those traitors to the sexual revolution staying home with their kids for a few years or working part-time (Oprah)

2. people who follow the news and are likely to vote (CTV National News)

3. er, everybody else (American Idol -- one of the highest-rated shows ever).

Thanks for coming out.

Joan, please don't mistake me for Jason Cherniak....

Yes Conservadroids have picked populist shows (as will be the Superbowl) and I don't mean this in a good way....

Your demographic qualifications are rather amusing - too bad Springer is not aired enough in this country - he'd fit right in with whom the Cons are trying to appeal to...

Oops, my bad.

As for the rest of your comments, "WTF" indeed (assuming that means what I think it means). I guess I'm too old to get your humour.

You target those you don't have ergo it just goes to show who current Liberals are.

Well, you just don't get Superbowl spots on the spur of the moment. So, the Conservatives were thinking that they would have lost the "confidence" of the House by this time, therefore, they bought some primetime ad time. Now, once you've bought it, what do you do with it, even though you aren't in an election? Just what they are doing. I am liking the ads, hard for the Liberals to fight their own words isn't it? I can't wait for the hot hot hot ad, how could they ignore that one? It just begs to be an ad. I think that one's going to be their Superbowl ad.
